Exciting News! During the Spring and Summer of 2018 the Havre Trails group finished a new trail in Beaver Creek Park: the Rotary Canyon Loop Trail. This trail is a 1 mile loop, starting by the spillway at Bear Paw Lake and heading north before looping back. Havre Trails put a lot of volunteer labor into this Trail, as well as funding two Montana Conservation Corps crews to help with making the trail. This is a unique trail and involved partnership between Beaver Creek Park, Montana Fish Wildlife and Parks, and Hill County. The trailhead is located within a Montana Fish Wildlife and Parks Fishing Access site, with the bulk of the trail itself located within Beaver Creek Park.
There are still minor items that need to be finish on this loop, such as improving the parking area at the trailhead, installing signage, and minor trail improvements.
Additionally, Havre Trails is planning on extending the Rotary Falls Loop Trail in the future.
